Main –> How to Tackle Distractions and Unproductivity
In the past few months, I've noticed something that has significantly impacted my content creation –> distractions.
Here's an example of how it goes: I send a tweet or come online to check notifications, and then I find myself scrolling on X. Before I knew it, I'd already wasted valuable time.
Another issue arises when I decide to search for content ideas on X; I often find myself wasting precious time. That's something I'm determined to rectify in September.
Here's my plan to increase my productivity this September (you're welcome to follow along or modify it to suit you):
- Once I've sent a tweet, I won't spend more than 15 minutes on X.
- When I want to create content, I will put my phone away (I did that before writing this edition).
- I'll use the Pomodoro technique as I work to avoid getting bored or zoning out. (might use 15 mins timer though)
- I'll allocate specific times to create content.

I know it won't be easy, but this month has to be greater than the last, and it all starts with me.
I wish you all the best and a wonderful weekend!
